Early-maturing, robust Russian bush tomato. Also suitable for outdoor cultivation. It is said that it can grow up to approx. 1 m high. Fruits are red, round to flat-round, juicy, mild, weighing approx. 20-70g. This variety is considered to be one of the most cold-tolerant varieties in the world. In favorable growing locations, it can be harvested after 50-55 days, in unfavorable locations where tomatoes cannot normally be grown, it can be harvested after 65 days. The plant already produces fruit at 10 °C. This variety is therefore ideal for early, normal and late cultivation.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Due to its cold tolerance, this variety can be sown a little earlier than its congeners. Due to their determinate growth, vine tomatoes do not need to be thinned out. They should nevertheless be given a support to bear the weight of the fruit. Watering tomatoes: Depending on whether you are propagating tomatoes or sowing them directly, and depending on the location and variety, you will need to water your tomato plants differently often. Tomatoes can develop very deep roots that can even draw water from the groundwater. In this case, you hardly need to water them, if at all. Pay attention to the leaves, if they hang limp you should water your tomato plants. The soil dries out more quickly, especially in pots, raised beds and raised beds, so you will need to water them more often.
