Description

Medium-early tomato from the ReinSaat variety for growing under glass/film. Round, very firm, bright red fruits with a fruit weight of 80-100g. Long shelf life, therefore also suitable for marketing as a tropical tomato. Good aromatic tomato flavor with a balanced sugar/acid ratio. Commercial variety. Resistance: Fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f sp lycopersici P0, P1), tomato mosaic virus (Tobamovirus P0).

Growing tips

Sow the seeds on the surface of moist, well-drained sowing soil, press down lightly and cover with sieved substrate. Place the sowing containers in a propagator or cover with a thin transparent film (remove this after germination). The plants will germinate quickly (7 - 14 days) in a bright place at 18 to 22 degrees Celsius. After about three weeks, prick out individually into pots with a diameter of 8 - 10 cm. Water the tomatoes: Depending on whether you are propagating tomatoes or sowing them directly, and depending on the location and variety, you will need to water your tomato plants differently often. Tomatoes can develop very deep roots that can even draw water from the groundwater. In this case, you hardly need to water them, if at all. Pay attention to the leaves, if they hang limp you should water your tomato plants. The soil dries out more quickly, especially in pots, raised beds and raised beds, so you will need to water them more often.
