Early bush tomato from Salt Spring Island, from the James Seed Company family, which has been active there since the beginning of the 20th century. Small bushes produce large quantities of medium-sized red fruits and therefore often need good supports. The real tomato taste is nicely balanced. Stores well after harvest. Can also thrive in partial shade in cool, moist areas. Also thrives well in large pots for balcony cultivation. Matures in 70 days. (eagleridgeseeds)
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Due to their determinate growth, vine tomatoes do not need to be thinned out. They should nevertheless be given a support to bear the weight of the fruit.
