High yielding, early ripening, very good tasting. Fruits are velvety-fluffy like a peach, cream-white-yellow with pink cheeks, weigh approx. 50-100g, diameter approx. 4.5-5.5 cm/1.8-2.2 in, sweet, tender, juicy, usually have a thin skin. A very special, still rare and very old variety that was already known before 1860. Also well suited for outdoor cultivation.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
The optimum germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C/68-77°F and germination takes place after 8 - 14 days. To speed up germination, soak the seeds overnight in a damp cloth. Plant out the pre-grown plants only after the last frost. Suitable for greenhouses, house walls or open ground under cover (sunny only), patios and balconies. The plants are narrow and tall (1.5-2 m), need support and should be regularly thinned out. Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilized, well-drained soil that is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more. Blossom end rot tolerant (not late blight). Early ripening, 55-69 days.
