Description

DG San Pizzuolo is one of the youngest varieties of Don Giardino Permaculture and is already one of the best tasting tomatoes in the range. It impresses with its very fine skin, a balanced, round aroma and consistent ripening of the panicles until late autumn. This tomato is suitable for all applications, from snack tomatoes and tomato salads to tomato sauces and chutney. As the breeding line is still very young, different fruit shapes may develop. The lower fruits of DG San Pizzuolo are generally larger than the upper ones and also have a more pronounced tip on the underside of the tomato. This variety has so far only been tested in covered outdoor cultivation, where it has proven to be very successful. It is recommended to cultivate this variety with one to a maximum of two shoots. Due to the high demand, this variety will be available in the store early as "experimental seed".
