Brokali 'Columbia' is an interesting variety for the fall and winter harvest. It is particularly cold-tolerant and produces an impressive yield of long-stemmed flowers that surpasses most other broccoli varieties in the main crop.
F1 Hybrid
Frostproof
To get the best out of 'Columbia', we recommend cutting off the main head when it is the size of an egg, then the side stems at the bottom of the plant will produce more flowers. Once these are harvested, more flowers will appear and this process can continue for around two months. If you grow this way, you can enjoy melt-in-your-mouth and delicious stalks for a long period of time. For best results, feed your brassica plants with brassica fertilizer before sowing to provide nutrients to the roots of your plants during the winter months.
