Description

An excellent broccoli cross between standard broccoli and Chinese broccoli that produces many delicious florets. After harvesting the main head, the long-stemmed side shoots can be harvested over a long period of time. Sow so that the distance between the plants is large and encourage branching by cutting off the main head when it is still small. The resulting stems and buds are particularly sweet and tender as they contain less fiber.

Growing tips

Choose a sheltered location with fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Prepare the soil in early spring by adding plenty of well-rotted manure. Protect the plant from the cabbage white butterfly and water it well after planting out.
