Early maturing, very high yielding, fresh, green cut lettuce with good regenerative ability. Tender, slightly curly leaves with open head. Vigorous variety with short development time of 4 - 6 weeks. Easy to grow, as direct sowing is possible in the field and balcony box, no pricking out or transplanting necessary. Cultivation and preparation is also possible mixed with other pickling lettuces.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
From mid-April to August, sow outdoors 0.5 cm deep, thinly distributed in rows 30 cm apart. In cold frames or foil houses from March. Press seed down, cover thinly with soil and keep moist. Likes sunny to semi-shady locations and all good, humus garden soils. Leave heart leaves when cutting, then can be harvested continuously. Temperatures above 18 °C may inhibit germination. For preparation, always harvest and consume fresh (not good storage properties). You can also gradually thin out to 25 cm in the row if you want the heads to be greener.
