Description

Lettuce 'Winter Butterhead' is a proven hardy lettuce variety with yellowish-green leaf mass. Provides firm heads already in early spring.

Growing tips

During germination, temperatures above 20°C have a very negative effect - never sow in heat. Never plant lettuce plants too deep. The heart should not be covered with soil. The plants will rot or good heads will not form. Winter Butterhead cover during heavy frosts.
