Description
A red Little Gem with shiny, maroon outer leaves and a yellow interior and a soft, buttery texture. A tasty and attractive addition to salads.

Growing tips
The seeds can be sown under glass. Sow the seeds in pots or trays with sowing soil at a temperature of 15-20 °C and cover the seeds lightly with vermiculite or compost. Alternatively, from April you can sow the seeds thinly in rows 1.5 cm deep and 30 cm apart directly in the vegetable patch.
