From February to August. Early sowing in seed trays, later directly on the spot. Cover the seed only thinly. Germination after 6-15 days at an optimum temperature of 10-16°C. Higher temperatures inhibit germination. When direct sowing, plant at a distance and not too deep. Harvest as soon as a firm head has developed. Early harvesting is possible by covering with foil/fleece
