The Red Butterhead is a small red lettuce with a head weight of around 200g. It brings color to the plate very early and enriches the kitchen with its buttery-tender leaves.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
It can be planted quite close together. It is recommended to plant at half the final spacing and gradually harvest every second lettuce as a cut lettuce to extend the harvest period. For overwintering cultivation, direct sowing is carried out at the end of August or planting in mid-October. The top edge of the pots should be flush with the soil. Winter lettuces should overwinter with about eight true leaves. If necessary, protect with thin fleece or straw.
