Altöttinger Großkopfada is a lettuce with large, loose heads. Forms a lot of leaf mass with large leaves that can also be harvested like plucking lettuce. Delicate and spicy-nutty taste. Suitable for early cultivation outdoors due to its high cold tolerance. Rare, old and robust local variety from Bavaria.
