"Nansen's Noordpool" is a frost-resistant, robust winter lettuce variety. It has dense, smooth leaves that are particularly crunchy.

The lettuce can be used for early outdoor cultivation with pre-cultivation or for direct sowing from August to September. It can easily overwinter in the bed without protection. Winter lettuce can be harvested from March.
