Traditional variety from the canton of Thurgau. Beautiful, healthy lettuce for spring and fall cultivation. Somewhat spared from snails.

Sow in March-April in seed trays. Prick out young plants and plant out in the open from April-May at a distance of 30x30 cm. For fall crops, sow in July. Lettuce is grateful for mature compost and regular watering. Grow in mixed cultivation with various vegetables.
