This traditional variety from Savoy is a real specialty: the heavily fringed dark green leaves provide variety on the plate and are very crunchy. For spring and fall cultivation. Also looks good on the market stall. Suitable for mountain areas. Pillierties precision seeds. Sow in March-April in seed trays. Prick out young plants and plant out in the open from April-May at a distance of 30x30cm. For fall crops, sow in July. Lettuce is grateful for mature compost and regular watering. Grow in mixed cultivation with various vegetables. This variety was developed for the very specific requirements of professional vegetable growing and is produced by our partner Gautier Semences. Taste is the main breeding criterion for this family business. Gautier varieties are of course also suitable for the hobby garden.
