Onion 'Radar' forms round, yellow bulbs with very early harvest maturity. The onions have a long shelf life and good skin firmness. 'Radar' is an improved variety based on the variety 'Senshyu Yellow'.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
By covering with fleece in early spring, you can accelerate the growth and thus harvest the bulbs already from mid-May. You can harvest the onions as soon as the foliage folds over on its own and turns yellow. After harvesting, you should leave them on the bed to dry for a few days or hang them dry.
