This variety from Calabria, Italy, offers round red onions with a very good reputation in this region for their mild, sweet flavor.

Not frost resistant
Sow in pots under shelter from February to April. Sow the seeds 1 to 2 cm deep in sowing soil and then water them. After the last frost, when the plants are about ten centimetres high, they can be transplanted outdoors. One plant every 15 cm, in rows 20 cm apart. Sowing directly outdoors (from March to May) is possible under the same conditions.
