Description

Medium-sized, round onion with clean, white outer skin and white flesh. Fruit weight approx. 110 g. Due to its balanced, mild flavor, Avalon is ideal for eating raw in sandwiches or salads. Very good shelf life.

Growing tips

The onion fly can be kept away by regular dusting with rock flour or by intercropping with carrots. Good neighbors include beet, carrots, strawberries and cucumbers.
