Description

The silver onions are usually pickled in vinegar, but can also be eaten fresh or stewed. The variety 'Blanc de Paris' captivates with its particularly mild and delicate taste.

Sowing from early March to mid-April. Row spacing approx 25 cm, sowing depth 2 cm. Onions are mature when foliage turns brown and dries up, but of course can be harvested earlier for fresh consumption. Onions like heavy, calcareous clay soil.
