Winter hardy variety, with large, flat-round, white edible onions, harvested as spring onions. Short-term storage possible. Can also be harvested as spring onions from April. Raw they are suitable for seasoning salads, cooked with many vegetable, fish and meat dishes.

Sow 1 cm deep in rows with 25 cm spacing. Press lightly, cover with soil and keep moist. Separate vigorous plants to 5 cm. Likes sunny, moderately moist sites in humusy, well-drained, easily warmed soil that dries well. Water during prolonged drought.
