This variety held the title of the world's hottest chili in 2012, with peaks ranging from 1.2 million to over 2 million SHU. The pod ripens from green to orange to red, offering a spicy but also very fruity flavor. Compared to the Trinidad Scorpion Red and Butch T, the chili pods do not have a distinct pointed spike, but are strongly reminiscent of the Bhut Jolokia due to the uneven surface.
