The plants of 'Thai Red' grow to about 90 cm tall and bushy, with a large number of the small red elongated pods that have a decent fire. Since the pods are very thin-walled, they are good for drying and powder making. Fresh pods are used for cooking and pickling.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Care: The germination temperature is between 21 and 28°C (7 - 21 days germination period), so it is recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need a fresh, well fertilized well-drained soil and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be in a full sun, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more. Place the plants outside about 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
