The 'Red Devil' is a rich-bearing chili with red small fruits. Good to cultivate as a pot plant on balcony and terrace. As the name suggests, this chili is very hot. Homeland: Mexico
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Culture tip: Sowing: Jan - Feb at 22 - 28°C in about 10 to 30 days, when pricking out set deeper ; planting out in well-fertilized compost soil in a fully sunny, sheltered place from mid-May or culture in 20 cm pots - I prefer pot culture, the fruits set earlier and it is possible to put the plants on the tempered windowsill from mid-Sep, thereby all fruits ripen until November. If you remove the first flower bud (king flower), the total yield increases significantly.
