Description

The fruits of this chili look like small mini pumpkins that ripen from green to orange to red. 'Pumpkin Pepper' is an extremely rare and beautiful variety that is also very prolific. If you dry the fruits, they become firm and do not lose their shape. The plants reach up to one meter in height and remain relatively light. The chilies have moderate pungency and are suitable for cooking, seasoning, drying and decoration.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Care: The germination temperature is between 20 and 28°C (7 - 20 days germination period), so it is recommended to use a greenhouse and a heating mat. The plants need a fresh, well-fertilized permeable soil and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be in a full sun, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more. Place the plants outside about 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
