The seeds of the Siberian sweet bell pepper have long been passed down from generation to generation. The ability to thrive in poor light conditions in winter is therefore probably pronounced. (Central Siberia lies at the same latitude as Germany) The fruit set is early and abundant. The red ripening fruits are elongated, grow upright like ornamental peppers, but the whole plant is much larger and the harvest is more abundant. Just as a guide: try about 1/2 pod per person at a meal. Pungency: 7.
