'NuMex Twilight' is a feast for the eyes and ideal as a pot plant. Planted close together, it can be used to create a uniform, colorful hedge. Although intended as an ornamental plant, the numerous piquin-type pods produced in different shades of color are edible at 2 cm long and 10 mm in diameter; they are fiery hot and are ideal for hot sauce and also make a decorative addition to salsas. In pots, the plants grow to a height of around 30 cm; outdoors they can grow up to 75 cm.
