The snack chilli bears up to 10 medium-hot, upright fruits per plant. These are 10-12 cm in size. They ripen from light yellow to red, but only the red fruits are ready to harvest. Annual.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Snack chilies are annual plants. However, with a little gardening skill, it is possible to overwinter the plants indoors at approx. 15 °C. Next April/May, small white flowers appear from which new chili pods grow independently. Snack chilies need lots of nutrients. They should be watered with liquid fertilizer every 3 weeks from April to September.
