Piri Piri' is a chili variety brought to Portugal from Africa. The pods are small and thin-skinned and are harvested when they are red and ripe. The chilli plants can be grown as perennials and then reach a maximum height of 1 m. Here, however, they usually only grow to a height of 50-70 cm. The taste of the piri piri chilli is relatively clear, without fruitiness, its heat is intense. Pungency: 9
