The Fresno chili is a popular variety from the USA that is similar in appearance and taste to the jalapeno, but has slightly thinner fruit walls. The variety is quite widespread, produces an enormous yield and is versatile. The chillies have a great aroma and can be eaten both green and when ripe red. They are suitable for hot dishes, for salsas, for fresh consumption as well as for grilling, pickling and cooking. In South and Central America, they are used for the traditional ceviche, a fish dish. Spiciness: 5-6
