Jalapeno Deep Green is a medium-sized bell pepper variety with a very mild heat. The fruits of this variety are dark green, almost black, during the growth phase and only turn reddish in late autumn. Fully ripened fruits are bright red and have a fine, sweet aroma with a hint of spiciness. Cultivation in greenhouses and covered open fields has proven to be very successful. Producer: Don Giardino Permaculture
