The 'Thai Hot Birds Eye' is a cultivar from the USA. The plants grow bushy and compact (up to 80 cm height) and are well suited for cultivation in a pot, on the balcony or windowsill. The plants bear very many small, upright and bright red ripening chilies. They are elongated, about 1 x 5 cm long and thin-walled, fiery hot and aromatic. They are versatile in the kitchen, whether for cooking, drying or pickling.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Their cultivation from seed should begin in January or February. Until mid-May, the chilies can develop well on a windowsill of a south window. Additional plant light will help the plantlets grow faster and healthier. Add movement to your grow every now and then. In the apartment, plants tend to grow less stable. Prevent this with a fan that you turn on once or twice a week.
