Description

From mid-July / August, the yellow-red fruits can be harvested. They are aromatic and extremely spicy taste. Under optimal conditions, the variety grows upright and reaches sizes of up to 1 m, and widths of about 50 cm. This vegetable can also be cultivated in tubs or pots to save space. From the Vietnam chili can be prepared, for example, delicious salads, but also delicious soups or refined dips.

Growing tips

For successful cultivation of chilies, a heated indoor greenhouse with lighting is recommended. Chili seeds germinate more reliably at 25 °C to 28 °C. At temperatures below 25 °C, the germination rate drops. Already at 18 °C you have to expect that no chili seeds will start to germinate.
