'Lombardo' is a very mild, aromatic pepper. They grow bushy, are high-yielding and do quite well in outdoor culture. The fruits grow to about 9-13 cm and ripen from green to red. In the process, they develop a fruity-sweet aroma, making them ideal for fresh consumption. The Lombardo can be used raw in salads or pickled as antipasti.
