The spring onion is probably familiar to most people from the local supermarket. However, the original form of the tender little onion comes from Northwest Asia, today's Russia, from where it conquered the whole world. Its cultivation is very simple and its uses in the kitchen are very extensive, similar to those of the onion. However, its taste is much more delicate and reminiscent of chives. The ideal ingredient for a fresh salad.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
If you like particularly long shanks, pile up the spring onion up to twice.
