Leek onions Apache are an eye-catcher at any meal because of their red color. This variety is very unpretentious and suitable for year-round cultivation. Sowing: From mid-March to early August directly on the spot. Cover seed only lightly. Sowing depth approx. 1-2cm. Germination: Germination takes place approx. 2-3 weeks at a temperature of approx. 10-20°C. Always keep the seedbed moist for germination. Cultivation: Row spacing 20-30 cm, in the row 3-4 cm. If necessary, after emergence, distort at a distance to ensure better development. Habitat: Sunny. Loose, humusy, easily warmed and quickly drying soil. Low to medium fertilizer requirement. Basic fertilization sufficient. Harvest: Harvest after 5-6 weeks depending on sowing time, temperature and desired size. Use: Very versatile, as an addition to vegetables, salad, juice and raw consumption. Helps with respiratory diseases, stimulates blood circulation. Tip: The valuable ingredients are best absorbed when eaten raw!
