Rutabagas / rutabagas are true classics in the garden, because they are undemanding to cultivate and thrive in almost all soils. Turnips can be stored well frost-free. The special feature is the sweet taste of the approx. 1.5 kg heavy, yellow-fleshed root tubers, which fits excellently into mixed stews and as a vegetable garnish.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Sunny location is preferred by the round, green-yellowish beets and makes the plants thrive. The distance between plants should be 40 x 50 cm. In autumn, the then still standing beets should be harvested before the first frost.
