Description

Rutabaga (or turnip) is an old, undemanding, high-yielding beet. In winter, the whole turnips can be stored in a cool and dark place for a long time. The turnip tastes good with potato, onion and meat as a stew, mashed as a puree or steamed. The variety Kostar is yellow-fleshed with purple-creamy-white skin.
