Old known variety. Approx. 1-1.2 kg in weight. Medium green, narrow-oval to slender-elongated heads. Spicy-hearty taste. Popular. Good for post-cultivation. Germination after 6-10 days at 18-20°C/64-68°F. (Can also be sown in spring).
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Needs a lot of nutrients, keep moist. Keep free of weeds. Use mixed crops to protect against pests. Use crop protection netting if necessary. Keep crop rotation. Tolerates light frost. In case of permanent ground frost, store cabbages with root balls in the cellar in a box with moist sand. Alkaline, chalky soil protects against cabbage hernia.
