2ND YEAR
Firm, closed, medium-length heads with dark green outer leaves. For cultivation from summer to fall, then ideal for storage until the following year. Reaches a head weight of 1-1.5 kg. Is resistant to cabbage blight and resistant to Fusarium wilt. Loves humus-rich, nutrient-rich soil. Covering with an insect net prevents infestation by the cabbage fly and cabbage white butterfly.
Non hybrid
Chinese cabbage requires deep, loose and nutrient-rich soil. The location should be sunny to semi-shady, and Chinese cabbage also loves wind-protected locations. Unlike other vegetables, it also thrives very well in cooler weather. It is a heavy feeder and needs a lot of water. However, make sure that there is no waterlogging. This type of cabbage grows best in a temperate climate with consistently high humidity. As with all types of cabbage, you should also give Chinese cabbage a cultivation break of 2 to 3 years.
