Description

All-season variety. In good soil vigorous, with reliable formation of white-green tubers. Suitable for all outdoor cultivation. Sensitive to frost. (From Sativa). Germination after about 2-3 weeks at 16-18°C.

Growing tips

Possibly protect from snails. Direct sowing often brings more beautiful tubers, but the harvest is then usually in the fall. Consistent moisture is important. Harvest tubers when they are still stout. When they begin to stretch, they become fibrous and hard. Cut tubers just above the ground, shoots will grow back if the root remains in the ground. Give a 3-4 year break from cultivation.
