Fast growing. Of the Zefa Fino type. Beautiful, white, round tubers, little tendency to side shoots and shoot resistant. Delicate, spicy flavor with hints of anise. Suitable for all outdoor cultivation. High yield.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Possibly protect from snails. Direct sowing often brings more beautiful tubers, but the harvest is then usually in the fall. Uniform moisture is important. Mound plants, thus better taste, and tender and snow-white tubers. Harvest when they are still stout. When they start to stretch they become fibrous and hard. Cut tubers just above the ground, shoots will grow back if the root remains in the ground. Give 3-4 years cultivation break.
