Fine delicacy variety with straight, 12-14 cm long pods and deep green, roundish grains. Pleasant, fine taste. It reaches a growing height of 70-80 cm, is very stable and can be grown in smaller gardens or tubs. The tender beans can be used freshly harvested or frozen. Prefers a humus-rich soil in a sunny location. Broad beans live in symbiosis with nitrogen-collecting nodule bacteria and therefore require little nitrogen fertilizer.
