Suffolk red is considered the first rosé-colored, fungus-resistant, seedless grape variety and originates from the USA. Its loose-berried grapes are large. The berry skin is thin-skinned, with medium-sized, round, slightly fragrant berries. Suffolk red is an outstanding table grape with excellent flavor.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
This vigorous variety has a strong growth habit and thrives well even in less favorable locations. The vine has good frost hardiness and good resistance to fungi. The table grape can be planted in normal garden soil. It prefers a sunny location. As with all climbing plants, a suitable trellis or trellis is necessary for the grapevine. Avoid waterlogging if possible!
