Description

Perennial. 20 - 30 cm high. Fast-growing chives with fine-tubed, medium-green leaves. Good resprouting ability and spicy taste. Can also be grown well in pots or in the balcony box. Indispensable, aromatic seasoning herb, which is also suitable for freezing.

Growing tips

Sow 0.5 cm deep with 25 - 30 cm row spacing, 1 - 2 cm in the row. Press seed, cover with soil and keep moist. Plant out pre-sown groups of plants (clumps) from May - June/August with 25 x 25 cm. Likes sunny to semi-shady locations on all humus-rich, nutrient-rich soils. Provide adequate soil moisture.
