Fast-growing top cultivar 'Corvair' produces particularly high yields of dark green, appetizingly glossy leaves. The upright leaves are easy and clean to harvest, either as finished leafy vegetables or as babyleaf. A very hardy variety, so plant protection measures are not necessary. Seeding can be done from spring to fall with a tiny summer break in June. The unique, intense flavor develops best when the spinach is prepared only steamed as leaf spinach or raw as a salad. But also cooked, as a cooking vegetable, always classically delicious with potatoes or scrambled eggs.
F1 Hybrid
Frostproof
