Spinach Viking is a medium-early, fast-growing and very high-yielding variety for spring and fall sowing. The variety is very suitable for overwintering, late-shooting and undemanding. This popular vegetable with large, intense green leaves has a pleasantly mild taste. Spinach Viking (Spinacia oleracea) is also suitable for freezing. You can cook the leaves whole or finely chopped or enjoy them raw as a delicious salad. Spinach contains important minerals, vitamins A and C as well as iron and is therefore a valuable part of a balanced diet. Spinach Viking requires humus-rich, well-drained soil in a sunny location.
