The low to semi-erect plants produce rosette-like, short-stalked, long-oval to round leaves. Young leaves are more digestible, as the oxalic acid content is lower than in older ones. In autumn cultivation, peas, bush beans, carrots, early cabbage vegetables, lettuce can be grown as a preceding crop. Mixed crop: bush beans, peas, cabbage vegetables.
