The variety 'Chioggia Guardsmark' provides a visual eye-catcher with its pink-white curled beets and delights with its sweet taste. Can be found in the red beet seed mix from Sperli in combination with the varieties 'Golden Eye' and 'Avalanche'.

Germination in 14-21 days at 15-22°C. Between April and June, place the seeds in a 1 to 2 cm deep groove in the bed with moist, loose and humus soil. Then cover them again with soil, press them down a little and water well. Keep evenly moist. The beets can be harvested between July and October. They taste great raw or cooked in salads or as juice.
