Moneta is a low-maintenance, shoot-resistant and high-yielding beetroot variety. It forms uniformly shaped, round, smooth, red beets. Its mild, slightly sweet flavor makes it best suited for raw consumption. Its high content of calcium, iron and beta-carotene makes it a very healthy vegetable in the kitchen.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Germination in 10-16 days at 12-20°C. A humus-rich, nutrient-rich, slightly permeable soil is optimal. Ensure constant soil moisture during the entire growth phase. The seed is monogerm, i.e. one plant grows from one grain and pricking out is not necessary. If sowing is too tight, thinning can be done. Harvest after 3-4 months.
